Hyundai has launched the 2018 Elite i20 at the Auto Expo 2018, which has received a much needed nip-and-tuck job. The petrol range starts from Rs. 5.34 to 7.90 lakh, while the diesel is from Rs. 6.73 to 9.15 lakh, all introductory prices. The Elite i20 is available in five variants – Era, Magna Era, Sports, Asta and Asta (O). The Elite i20 is a global success for Hyundai, as it boasts of over 400,000 customers since its launch in 2014.
The new Elite i20 now comes with a glossy front grille. But apart from this, the premium hatchback also boasts a new dual tome rear bumper, new tail gate design and re-designed rear lamps. Apart from all these new goodies, the Elite i20 is now equipped with sporty 16-inch alloy wheels.
To ensure the safety aspect of the car, the Elite i20 comes with 6-airbags, while dual airbags are a standard feature. Keeping things comfortable for the rear passengers, the Korean automobile manufacturer has added a rear armrest with cup holders, which is a first in the segment.
Hyundai has stuck to their tried and tested 81bhp, 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine and 88bhp, 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine.
