Motormind Automotive Designs had showcased their first prototype two-seater roadster completely developed and designed in India at the 13th Auto Expo. Motormind calls it the Hyperion 1. The Hyperion 1 has a carbon fibre reinforced plastic chassis with a rear mounted V6 Hyundai Sonata engine (the production car might use a different unit). The car is an open two-seater with Lamborghini style electronically operated scissor doors that open upwards leaving a wow expression to unsuspecting onlookers. The wheels are five-spoke alloy wheels with really low profile tyres that give the car a very sporty look. The interiors are also littered with carbon fibre and black alcantara and leather upholstery with red stitching. The seats are derived from racing seats that offer ample side support all covered with leather. From the gear lever, it seems the car has an automatic transmission. It also has a touchscreen infotainment system. The instrument cluster behind the steering wheel looks like a couple of halos with numbers on it which glow brighter than the sun. The brightness is however adjustable. The car also has a sleek airscoop on top that feeds cold air to the engine.
