Lull period

June was one whirlwind of a month. With a lot of traveling and temperature refusing to dip below mid 40 degrees Celsius, I, unfortunately, didn’t get the time or have the will to ride our trusty steed, the Yamaha YZF-R3. Unfortunately for a biker, summers are unforgiving, but when I did manage to brave the heat, the R3 returned the favour and brought a smile on my face. Being such a nimble handler, it lets me weave through slow moving traffic effortlessly. The R3’s sharp design continues to be a crowd puller as an SUV driver kept shadowing me for a kilometer or so just to get a better view of the motorcycle.

Logbook

After being with us for five months, the R3 now needs a much-deserved service checkup. The clutch wire is showing signs of wear and tear. But we still can’t figure out why the motorcycle’s battery keeps on acting up, leading to starting issues.

Apart from these niggling issues, the R3 continues to be a breeze to ride. We can’t emphasize enough as to how comfortable its riding stance is. And there isn’t much one can find flaws in the R3.
