F1: Pirelli Unveils Special Podium Caps for 2025, To Debut at Australian Grand Prix
Designed with Denis Dekovic, the new Pirelli caps will have unique colours for each race, starting with green and gold at the 2025 F1 Australian Grand Prix.

Formula 1’s exclusive tyre supplier, Pirelli, will revamp its podium cap tradition in 2025. Instead of the classic black caps, drivers will wear specially designed, colourful caps at 14 of the 24 races. This update enhances podium celebrations, bringing variety and a fresh visual appeal to F1’s global stage. Designed in collaboration with Denis Dekovi, the new caps will feature unique colour combinations for different races. The Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne will introduce green and gold caps, while China and Japan will showcase red and gold, and blue and gold, respectively. These rotating designs will make each podium moment more distinctive and engaging for fans.

This change goes beyond aesthetics, strengthening fan engagement and aligning with Formula 1’s dynamic and innovative image. The black Pirelli cap was a long-time symbol, but the vibrant new designs reflect the sport’s evolving identity. Dekovi highlighted that each cap represents speed, innovation, and the culture of its host country, making them more than just a fashion statement.
