The MotoGP grid heads to the Sepang International Circuit this weekend for the penultimate round of the 2025 season. The Malaysian round will pose a challenge, with heat and humidity set to test riders and machines alike. Marc Marquez remains out due to injury, and Michele Pirro will again replace him for Ducati. Jorge Martin and Maverick Vinales will also miss the round, giving other riders a chance to score valuable points as the season nears its conclusion. Alex Marquez holds a strong second place with a 97-point lead over Marco Bezzecchi, with only 74 points remaining after Malaysia. A strong result at Sepang could confirm his position in the championship and deliver a Marquez family one-two in the final standings. Francesco Bagnaia, currently fourth, aims to recover after tough weekends in Indonesia and Australia.
