From unexpected DNFs to a nail biting end to the race, this round of the JK NRC had it all.

The first round of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship saw Vishnu Prasad dominate the proceedings in the Euro JK17 race. The local-lad continued his form in the second round as he went around the Kari Motor Speed way in 1:06.380 minutes to secure pole position on the grid. Race 1 however, didn't prove to be as fruitful after his car gave up on him on the penultimate lap. The battle for the podium places was intense with less than a second separating the top four drivers. In the end, it was Nayan Chatterjee who took the win just 0.091 seconds ahead of Ricky Capo. Anindith Reddy crossed the finish line half a second later in third.

Vishnu Prasad, however, managed to recover well after the first race securing a third place, win and another third place in Race 2, 3 and 4. Meanwhile, Anindith Reddy was the first to cross the finish line in Race 2 with Nayan Chatterjee taking second place behind him.

It seemed like with every passing race, the competitiveness of drivers was increasing. In Race 3, only 0.8 seconds separated the race winner Prasad and second placed Reddy. Chatterjee once again stood on the podium, only this time on the last step.

Capo defended his lead from a fast approaching Reddy right up till the finish line. With the kind of pace that Reddy managed to find this weekend, Capo was made to work hard to earn a victory in Race 4. Prasad took the third spot on the podium.
