Sixteen-year-old Tarun Reddy took a 23 point lead in the MRF FF1600 Championship with 3 consecutive wins at round four of India’s biggest domestic racing championship, the 2014 MMSC-FMSCI National Racing Championship (NRC). Tarun was dominant all weekend and won ahead of Advait Deodhar and Lee Keshav in race two while beat Advait and Vikash Anand in Race 3. Ajay Kini sealed the LGB Formula 1300 title with three wins this weekend. VJ Senthil continued his brilliant run and took over the championship lead in the Indian Junior Touring Car category while Arjun Narendran won his 2nd race of the weekend in the Indian Touring Car category.

In race one of the MRF FF1600 pole sitter Lee Keshav took the lead with a fast starting Tarun Reddy and Vikash Anand right behind him. Vikash starting from 10th on the grid moved up to 3rd place by the end of lap one but was later given a penalty for jumping the start. Tarun took the lead on lap two and did his customary pulling away from the rest of the pack with Advait Deodhar once again giving chase. The battle for 3rd position was once again a three-way affair with Vikash battling Lee Keshav and Kartik Tharani Singh. Tarun crossed the line to complete yet another victory in the MRF FF1600 category. Advait finished in 2nd position with Lee Keshav taking the final step of the podium.
