The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 18.88 lakh 9ex-showroom). The motorcycle uses an 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that produces 113.4bhp at 10,750 rpm and 92.1Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Ducati states that more than 70 per cent of the torque is available from 3,500 rpm for flexible use in city and touring conditions. The motorcycle has a lower overall weight by 18 kg compared to the previous version, improving balance and efficiency. With the updated Multistrada V2, Ducati aims to strengthen its position in the adventure motorcycle segment, which has seen steady growth in India.

The Multistrada V2 retains its functional structure with focus on comfort and riding position. It features a two-level seat that can be set at 830 mm or 850 mm to suit different riders. The pillion seat has been configured for comfort during extended rides. The motorcycle is fitted with full LED lighting and a 5-inch TFT display that presents data and settings. Ducati offers the model in two colour options to give customers a choice without affecting mechanical specifications.

The chassis is based on an aluminium monocoque frame, reducing overall mass and improving handling. The suspension setup includes a 45mm inverted front fork and a rear monoshock. The standard variant has mechanical adjustment, while the higher variant includes electronic control for suspension settings. Braking is managed by Brembo components, using twin 320mm front discs and a single 260mm disc at the rear.
The motorcycle is equipped with Ducati’s electronic management systems. These include riding modes, traction control, wheelie control, and cornering ABS with adjustable levels. The windscreen is adjustable for rider protection in varying conditions. These systems provide consistent control and stability across different surfaces and usage patterns. The setup supports both short-distance and cross-country use.

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 enters the Indian market in the middleweight adventure segment, competing against models like the Triumph Tiger 900, BMW F 900 XR, BMW F 900 GS, and Kawasaki Versys 1000.
