Suzuki has introduced the latest edition of the Burgman 400 in Europe, bringing visual updates to its flagship maxi-scooter for 2025. While the core engineering remains the same, the model benefits from a refreshed set of paint options, aimed at keeping its design contemporary and appealing in a segment that has become increasingly saturated with new offerings.
The Burgman 400 receives a visual update for the 2025 model year, now offered in three fresh colour treatments: a subdued Pearl Matte Shadow Green contrasted by gold wheels, a monochrome black edition accented with the same golden alloys, and a lively Bright Metallic Blue that brings a youthful, performance-inspired look to the maxi-scooter.

Suzuki has retained the tried-and-tested mechanical setup for the 2025 Burgman 400. Powering the maxi-scooter is the same 400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine mated to a CVT gearbox. This engine produces 30 hp and 36 Nm of torque, delivering a refined, linear power curve that makes it equally suitable for city commuting and highway travel. It also meets Euro 5 emission standards, ensuring eco-friendliness without compromising performance.
The features package remains largely familiar in this update. It continues to offer a twin-dial analogue instrument setup with an integrated LCD for ride data. Functional tech includes traction control for improved grip on slick roads, dual-channel ABS for enhanced braking confidence, and an all-LED lighting setup for better visibility. Practicality is a key strength, with generous under-seat storage that easily accommodates a full-face helmet and other daily essentials, reinforcing the Burgman 400’s status as a dependable everyday scooter.

Although set to arrive in European dealerships shortly, the revamped Burgman 400 is unlikely to be introduced in India. Suzuki continues to maintain its focus on the small-capacity scooter segment in the Indian market, with no signs of a strategic shift toward larger displacement offerings at this time.
