The first edition of the Bike Festival of India is all set to take place at the BIC in Greater Noida on the 4th and 5th of October this year and it aims to provide a platform for the biking community in India to come together. The theme for this year's festival is safe riding and that is why the organisers of the Bike Festival of India -  Rhiti Sports Management & Event Capital - created the National Safety Ride.

The BFI National Safety Ride was flagged off by Indian Cricketer Ishant Sharma in New Delhi, and a group of riders - including female riders - have begun an 8100 kilometre journey across India that will take them 30 days to complete. The riders will be riding Triumph motorcycles - the official partner of the National Safety Ride - and will attempt to spread awareness on safe biking as they visit places such as Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Kolkata and Chandigarh for meet and greet sessions with bikers from other communities.

Mr Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India, commented, “Triumph Motorcycles is proud to associate with BFI as the official safety ride sponsor. Owning a motorcycle is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship, riding safe ensures that relationship last forever.  We at Triumph want riders to be well aware of the importance of safe and responsible riding, I think it is a great opportunity to educate and make more and more bikers ride safe every day”
