DSK Benelli sells over 3,000 units in India

DSK Benelli seems to be on a roll these days. That’s because the company has sold over 3,000 motorcycles in the country since it started operations here in March 2015. Of the 3,000 units sold, the Benelli TNT 600i is the fastest selling motorcycle in India with over a thousand units already sold.

DSK Benelli currently operates through 17 showrooms across India. The company’s model line-up includes the TNT 25 – the most affordable bike by the company, featuring a single-cylinder 250cc engine, TNT 300 – In-line two-cylinder 300cc engine, TNT 600GT and 600i (ABS) – In-line four cylinder, 600cc engine, TNT 899 – In-line, three cylinder 898cc engine, and the TNT R – In-line, three cylinder 1131cc engine.

For sales in domestic market, DSK Benelli assembles its bikes locally at its plant in Maharashtra. Currently, the facility has a production capacity of 7,500 units per annum. By the end of 2017, the annual production is set to go up to 1,00,000 units. What’s more, the company will be launching two new motorcycles – Benelli 302R and the TRK 502 - by the end of fiscal year 2016-17.
