Interested customers can book the Ducati Multistrada V4 by paying a minimum amount of Rs 1 lakh. Duacti will only bring the V4 and the V4 S to our shores – the top-end V4 Sport will not be introduced.

After a lot of teasing, Ducati has finally commenced bookings for the new Multistrada V4. Customers can book the Multistrada V4 for a minimum amount of Rs 1 lakh. Bookings will remain open for a limited time till the first batch of vehicles last. Ducati will, however, resume bookings when the second shipment lands on our shores. The Italian marque will have test ride vehicles in all major cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Pune.

The Multistrada V4 is a replacement for the old Multistrada 1260 and has been developed from scratch. The new Multi borrows its engine from the Panigale V4, but the motor has been tweaked to suit the characteristics of an ADV. There, it makes 168bhp and 125Nm from a 1,158cc V4 motor. Ducati has employed a spring valve return system in this new motor – something that gives the Multistrada an impressive service interval of 60,000km for the valve train.

The suspension duties are performed by 50mm USD forks at the front and a fully adjustable monoshock at the rear. The stopping power comes from two 320mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear.

As you’d expect, Ducati has loaded the Multistrada V4 up to the brim. It comes with different riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and a ton of electric wizardry as standard. Like most other new-age motorcycles, the Multi V4 also comes with a large 5-inch TFT display with navigation.

Ducati has the V4 on sale in the global market in three variants – the standard, V4 S, and Sport. Here in India, the Italian brand will not introduce the Sport. When launched, the Multistrada V4 will rival the likes of the BMW R 1250 GS and Harley Davidson Pan America 1250. Expect the Multistrada V4 to have a starting price around the Rs 20 – 21 lakh mark.
