First-ever Ducati DRE Track Day in India in October

The Ducati DRE Track day will be organised on 13th and 14th October for all motorcycles except the Scramblers. Just a few months back in August, Ducati organised the first-ever DRE (Ducati Riding Experience) Off-road Days in India.

The Ducati DRE Track day will be organised on 13th and 14th October for all motorcycles except the Scramblers

Just a few months back in August, Ducati organised the first-ever DRE (Ducati Riding Experience) Off-road Days in India. Now the company has announced their Track Days on 13th and 14th October at th Buddh International Circuit. The DRE Track Day will be open for all Ducati motorcycles with the exception of the Scramblers. All owners of the Panigale V4 can register for the DRE Track Day free of cost on the official website. Other Ducati owners can get passes for the event at Rs 10,000. They can also register for a test ride of the Panigale V4, 959 Panigale or the SuperSport for Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively.

More importantly, participants will be trained by official Ducati test rider Alessandro Valia, who has more than a decade of experience as a DRE Trainer. Each participant will get three sessions of 20 minutes each and three laps on their choice of from the Ducati test ride vehicles. The package also includes a Ducati fan kit and discounts on spares for owners.

Non-Ducati owners can also be a part of the Ducati Riding Experience as long as they have a motorcycle that displaces more than 600cc. Participants will only get 2 sessions of 20 minutes each. They can sign up by booking three laps on their choice of Ducati – the Panigale V4 for Rs 16,000, the 959 Panigale for Rs 12,000 and the SuperSport for Rs 10,000. These participants will also get the Ducati fan kit.   

Sergi Canovas, MD of Ducati India said, “With an aim to elevate the experience of owning a Ducati in India, we are introducing the first edition of DRE-Track Days to unleash the racing DNA of our track focused motorcycles. DRE Track Days will offer riders a one of a kind opportunity to ride their motorcycle as well as experience the Panigale V4, 959 Panigale or the SuperSport in their true habitat. To make our first ever DRE Track Days special, Official Ducati test rider Alessandro Valia will join us for the training sessions to help riders develop and enhance their riding skills.”

The Ducati Riding Experience is a global initiative that has been brought into India recently. It commenced with the Off-road Day in August, and the company has now announced a track day too. With this program, Ducati intends to develop motorcycle enthusiasts’ skill so that they can have better control on their machines and thereby enjoy experience greater thrill of riding.
