The speculation can be put to rest now. After initially partnering with US based bike manufacturer Erik Buell Racing, the largest bike maker in the world, also known as Hero Motocorp, is now purchasing a 49.2% stake in the company. That’s right folks, Indian bike manufacturer Hero has just bought a large chunk of Erik Buell Racing, which means that this partnership will surely create a broader range of potential products for Indian customers and will also help the Indian bike maker make a larger impact on the global market.

Hero has paid roughly $25 million or Rs 150 crore for part ownership of the company. This is also the first time that Hero has bought a stake in a company outside of India. We can’t wait to see what this partnership creates for the Indian customer.
