Honda 2 wheelers registers 50% YoY growth on Akshaya Tritiya

Honda 2 Wheelers has started the new financial year on a high note with the Japanese manufacturer selling 41,000 vehicles alone on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. The figure was 50% higher than the previous year, signalling increasing penetration of the brand in the Indian market.

Honda 2 Wheelers has started the new financial year on a high note with the Japanese manufacturer selling 41,000 vehicles alone on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. The figure was 50% higher than the previous year, signalling increasing penetration of the brand in the Indian market.

The overall Dream series - comprising of Dream Yuga, Dream NEO and CD 110 Dream - witnessed 55% rise in sales.

Elaborating on the sales, Mr. Yadvinder S. Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., “While we had the reports on muted sentiment towards gold-buying, it has been a great revelation of trust & confidence in brand Honda seeing the swelling walk-ins at our network and overall conversions into retails. The 50% increase in sales during Akshaya Tritiya is a significant jump, and even surpassed all our expectations. This, yet again reinforces trust that customer repose in Honda.”
