In the US market, Honda has just launched a naked version of its CBR300R sports bike. The brand new CB 300F is essentially the same bike as the CBR300R, but minus the full fairings, which makes it 3 kilograms lighter in weight. The engine is also the same 286cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke found in the CBR300R and it gets a power output of 31bhp and 27Nm of torque, and is mated to the same 6-speed transmission.

The CB300F balances beginner-friendly features with the performance and Honda refinement that make this bike one to keep. Light weight, superb handling, excellent power and unmatched build quality and attention to detail combine all that with Honda’s famous reliability and the CB300F is an instant winner. This could very well be the perfect beginner bike.

The naked 300 will also have a better fuel efficiency of around 30km/l. As of now the bike is only available in the US market, but we do see a chance of the CB300F making its way to India in a year or so.
