Jawa 42 Ivory Can Now be Purchased on Amazon and Flipkart
Jawa has opened online bookings for the 42 Ivory on Amazon and Flipkart, making it easier to reserve the motorcycle without visiting a dealership first.

Jawa has made it easier to book the 42 Ivory. You can now reserve the motorcycle directly on Amazon or Flipkart, pay the booking amount online, and the rest of the payment process, paperwork, and registration will be handled at your nearest authorised dealer. No need to walk into a showroom just to put your name down. For a lot of young buyers, that is a big deal.
The Ivory edition launched earlier this year, and riders liked it from day one. It is not hard to see why. The Indian motorcycle market is full of blacks, reds, and the occasional blue. Ivory is different.
It is soft, it is clean, and on the Jawa 42, it works really well with the retro styling that the bike already carries. Several buyers have said the colour alone was the reason they chose this variant over others. With this shade now part of the lineup, the Jawa 42 is available in 15 colour options in total, which is a lot for a single model.
What Makes the Jawa 42 Ivory Stand Out?
The colour gets all the attention, but Jawa has added a few more things to make this variant stand out. Jawa has also added retro graphics on the body, and they actually look good, not like an afterthought. There is a checkered flag design on the fuel tank, which is a nice touch and adds a bit of character.
The classic teardrop tank shape is still there, and so is the signature "42" badging on the side panels. Put it all together, and you get a bike that looks like it belongs to a different era, in the best possible way. If you have seen it in person, the ivory finish catches light in a way that photographs do not fully capture.
The Mechanical Side
Jawa has not touched the engine for this variant, and honestly, there was no reason to. The 42 Ivory runs the same 294cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor that does 27.3bhp and 26.8Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and gets an assist and slipper clutch.

In the city, the engine is smooth and easy to live with. It does not feel stressed in traffic and pulls cleanly at lower speeds. On the highway, it settles into a comfortable cruise without too much fuss. It is not a performance motorcycle, but it was never trying to be one. For everyday riding with the occasional long weekend run, it does the job well.
How the Online Booking Works?
The process is straightforward. You go to Amazon or Flipkart, find the listing, and pay the booking amount online. After that, a local authorised dealer gets in touch to confirm the order. The remaining payment, registration, and insurance are all handled at the dealership. Accessories are purchased separately. Delivery happens once all the formalities are done.
Jawa is continuing its Ownership Assurance Programme with the 42 Ivory. You get a standard 4-year or 50,000km warranty, whichever comes first. That can be extended up to six years. Roadside assistance is available for up to eight years, and AMC plans cover up to five years of ownership. There are over 450 sales and service touchpoints across the country, so after-sales support is reasonably well spread out.
The Jawa 42 Ivory is priced at Rs 1.84 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi. Online bookings are currently open across 118 cities, with 130 dealerships handling enquiries coming through the e-commerce platforms.
