Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes to India

Japanese bike manufacturers, Kawasaki, with the help of Bajaj Probiking have just brought in their newest entry-level sports bike to India called the Ninja 300. The newest Ninja has been upgraded from a 250cc to a 300cc.

Japanese bike manufacturers, Kawasaki, with the help of Bajaj Probiking have just brought in their newest entry-level sports bike to India called the Ninja 300. The newest Ninja has been upgraded from a 250cc to a 300cc unit that has performance figures to excite even most experienced sports bike riders.

The new engine comes with a displacement of 296cc and can create 39bhp and 27Nm of torque. There are also a host of features, which have come down from Kawasaki’s bigger supersport bikes like the ZX-10R, ZX-6R and one of the world’s fastest production motorcycle the Ninja ZX-14R. Some of these features like Assist & Slipper Clutch and the aerodynamic body design are results of Kawasaki Racing Technology.

Mr. Yuji Horiuchi, of India Kawasaki Motors said, “The Kawasaki Ninja 250R has been a great success in India with more than 3000 bikes sold till date. With a product like Ninja 300 and Bajaj Probiking’s wide and exclusive network the Kawasaki brand will continue to grow in India.”

The Ninja 300 will be available in trademark Kawasaki Lime Green and Pearl Stardust White colors and will be available across a network of more than 70 showrooms and backed with Bajaj Probiking’s exclusive service facilities and spares availability. The only downside is the high price of the bike, which is Rs 3.5 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
