Mahindra and Mahindra announced that they will be aligning its 2-Wheelers division with its existing automotive and farm equipment sector from the 1st of April 2014.

The move corresponds with retirement of the current two-wheeler sector president, Anoop Mathur, as comes into effect on 31 March 2014. April onwards, Mahindra’s two-wheeler sector will be taken over by Rajesh Jejurikar, chief-executive, tractor and farm mechanisation, alongside his present role and he will report to Dr Pawan Goenka, executive director and president, who currently heads the automotive and farm equipment division.

Once the move is executed, Mahindra’s two-wheeler sector is expected to gain from sharing AFS’s research and development, sourcing, manufacturing and marketing resources.
