Motoroyale will bring in the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 to India on 29th August. When launched, it will compete against the Ducati Multistrada 950 and the Triumph Tiger XRx
MV Agusta will finally enter into a new bodystyle segment with the launch of the Turismo Veloce 800. Motoroyale will launch the motorcycle on 29th August, in Navi Mumbai. This touring motorcycle is powered by the same motor that works on the F3 800 and the Brutale 800. The three-cylinder 798cc motor develops 108bhp and 83Nm. This engine comes paired with a six-speed transmission. The gearbox gets assistance from a slipper clutch as well as a quick shifter. The Turismo Veloce 800 also comes with a whole lot of electronic aids including eight levels of traction control, Bosch-sourced ABS system and more. Up front the Turismo Veloce sits on Marzocchi Upside Down forks and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are performed by two 320mm discs up front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
As far as design goes, the front-end of the Turismo Veloce looks inspired from the F3 and F4 fully-faired siblings. It gets a diamond shaped headlight, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, a curvy fuel tank and an exhaust that looks identical to the F3’s unit. As far as features go, the Turismo Veloce comes with a LED headlights and taillights, built-in turn indicators for the knucke guards and more.
The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce will compete against the likes of the Ducati Multistrada 950 and the Triumph Tiger XRx. Expect the Turismo to be priced around Rs 19 lakh. Along with the launch of the new motorcycle, Motoroyale will also inaugurate a new dealership in Navi Mumbai.
