BMW Motorrad has officially teased the 2025 BMW C 400 GT scooter on its social media platforms, generating anticipation ahead of its launch in India. As a premium maxi-scooter, the C 400 GT is known for its blend of performance, comfort, and advanced technology, making it a compelling choice for urban commuters and long-distance riders. The teaser images hint at design refinements and possible feature upgrades, aligning with BMW’s commitment to innovation and rider convenience. With the Indian two-wheeler market witnessing a growing demand for high-end scooters, the arrival of the C 400 GT is expected to strengthen BMW’s position in this segment. Enthusiasts can look forward to more details on specifications, pricing, and availability in the coming weeks.

New BMW C 400 GT: Expected Updates

The upcoming iteration of the model, which underwent a global refresh last year, will make its way to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Aesthetic enhancements on the new model include redesigned graphics, featuring a bold “GT” badge on the side panels as well as fresh stripes on the front apron. The globally available white variant now comes with gold-finished wheels, further elevating its visual appeal. Furthermore, the premium bikemaker has introduced an adjustable windshield as a standard feature on the 2025 version of the model.

Practicality has also been improved, with an increased storage capacity totalling an additional 12 litre. The under-seat compartment has expanded by 23 per cent, now measuring 37.6 litre – large enough to accommodate a 15-inch laptop. Additionally, the front storage pockets offer 12 litre of extra space and now come with optional smartphone cooling and charging features. Other features include LED lights, traction control (as standard), colour TFT display, and lean-sensitive ABS.

New BMW C 400 GT: Mechanical Setup

The new BMW C 400 GT is equipped with an updated 350cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that complies with Euro 5+ emission standards. This refined powertrain generates 34bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm, coupled with a CVT automatic transmission for seamless power delivery.

The scooter’s mechanical setup includes telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, while braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends.

The BMW C 400 GT has been present in the Indian market since 2021 and continues to be the most expensive petrol-powered scooter in the country (priced at Rs 11.25 lakh, ex-showroom). With the introduction of the 2025 model, its price is anticipated to rise even further, given the range of enhancements it brings.
