Triumph has added a new motorcycle to its Trident range — the Trident 800 — and it comes powered by the new 798cc inline-three engine that debuted on the Tiger Sport 800 last year. The design of the Trident 800 largely resembles that of the Trident 660, though it gets quite a few noticeable changes that make it stand apart from the latter. Here are more details about the 2026 Triumph Trident 800.
The Trident 800 features larger and sharper tail panels, a sharper front fender, side-mounted exhaust, a flyscreen, a body-coloured belly pan, and gold-coloured wheels, all of which help differentiate it from the 660. It gets a 14-litre tank, and the colour options include Ash Grey with Diablo Red, Carnival Red with Graphite, and Jet Black.

The suspension setup includes Showa 41mm USD forks for the front, and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload. The front wheel gets dual-310mm disks for the brakes, while the rear features a single 220mm unit.

The motorcycle gets three riding modes, cruise control, cornering ABS, traction control, a 3.5-inch color TFT screen, LED lights, and more.
Powering the Trident 800 is a 798cc three-cylinder engine that we first saw on the new Triumph Tiger Sport 800. Claimed power and torque figures remain the same as the Tiger Sport too — 113bhp at 10,750rpm, and 84Nm at 8,500rpm. The engine redlines at 11,500rpm, and the power is delivered via a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a bi-directional quickshifter.

The motorcycle will start reaching dealerships in March 2025, though any information about its India launch remains unknown as of date.
