Pre-bookings for the Okinawa Praise have commenced with a minimum booking amount of Rs 2,000
Okinawa Scooters is all set to bring in their second product in the market in December. The new Okinawa Praise will be a premium offering with a sporty design language and a long list of features. Except for the teaser image that the company has released recently, details of this new electric scooter are sketchy, but the teaser does let out some hints about what to expect.
The Okinawa Praise gets a wide front fasica which is somewhat reminiscent of the Honda Dio. The wide headlight is underlined with LED Daytime Running Lamps. The front panel has been pulled along the sides too, and it incorporates a strip of LEDs and turn indicators. The Okinawa Praise has also been fitted with bar end weights.
While details about its battery have not been revealed as yet, Okinawa is bullish about the performance of the Praise and claims it to have the longest range and the highest speed of all electric scooters. The e-scooter will come fitted with telescopic forks and a disc brake up front.
Speaking about the upcoming e-scooter, Okinawa spokesperson Jeetender Sharma said, “Every feature in 'Praise' has been added after careful consideration of the needs and preferences of riders that immensely facilitate their commuting experience. We firmly believe that 'Praise' will receive overwhelmingly positive reviews from users and be the harbinger of a new age of e-vehicle revolution on Indian roads.”
Earlier this year, Okinawa launched its first offering in India – the Ridge, which is priced at Rs 43,702 (ex-showroom Delhi). Considering that the Praise will be positioned above it and with all the technology it is likely to pack, we expect it to be priced around the Rs 51,000 mark. Okinawa Scooters will launch the Praise in the second week of December.
