The ‘Make it yours’ initiative from Royal Enfield will let interested buyers customise their riding jackets before the purchase; existing buyers can also upgrade their jackets with minor customisations.

Royal Enfield’s ‘Make it yours’ initiative allows interested customers to accessorise and customise select bike models. This freedom of customisation has now been extended to Royal Enfield riding jackets as well. Buyers purchasing the riding jackets can opt for either  Knox or D30 armours. These impact protection armours will be inserted in the chest, shoulder, and spinal region of the jacket.

Speaking on the launch of MiY on riding jackets, Mr Puneet Sood, National Business Head, North and West India & Global Business Head, Apparel, Royal Enfield, said, 'Royal Enfield has always been working towards enhancing the ownership experience for its customers – be it motorcycles or apparel. After witnessing the overwhelming response to our MiY Initiative for the range of motorcycles, helmets, and t-shirts, we decided that it was time we took this forward to our range of riding jackets as well.'

The customers also get a choice of winter and rain liners along with the choice of colours for the jacket. Royal Enfield claims that jackets will be on a par with the ‘global safety norms while making them accessible.’

'Consumers are often compelled to buy riding jackets off the shelves to act more as utility accessories as opposed to catering to their needs or complementing their style. This initiative now gives users the opportunity to not just build all-new jackets but also upgrade their existing jackets,' Puneet Sood further added.
