Royal Enfield

With the ever-rising popularity of adventure motorcycles in India, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has become one of the most sought-after options. But what if there was a bigger Himalayan on the horizon? While there's a lot of speculation on if and when that happens, it hasn't stopped us from coming up with reasons why it will be a good idea! Here’s why waiting for a bigger Royal Enfield Himalayan could be worth it.

Bigger Engine

Reports suggest a Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is on its way and has been spotted testing as well. Clearly, it is going to be the most powerful version yet, featuring a 750cc parallel-twin engine. While official details remain scarce, this engine will likely be an evolution of the 648cc twin from the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. If Royal Enfield follows this path, the Himalayan 750 could deliver more power and torque, enhancing both performance and comfort for riders.

With more power, the Himalayan 750 could challenge adventure bikes like the KTM 790 Adventure and Triumph Tiger Sport 660.

Affordable Performance

Royal Enfield has already made the 650cc parallel-twin engine affordable in India with models like the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT. Now, the larger Himalayan presents an exciting upgrade for Himalayan 411 and 450 owners. Adventure riders seeking a more powerful yet budget-friendly option can now consider this new model.

The current 650cc engine produces 47 bhp at 7,150 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm, delivering a balanced mix of power and efficiency. The upcoming 750cc version is expected to offer even more performance, making it an attractive choice for riders wanting an affordable yet capable adventure bike.

More Road Presence

Big motorcycles always capture attention, and while the Himalayan 450 already boasts a solid road presence, the concept of a larger version is undeniably appealing. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 promises an even more commanding presence, with its imposing size and rugged design. The 750cc engine will deliver added power while accentuating the bike's bold, purposeful appearance.
