With these two new dealerships, Triumph Motorcycles now has 10 dealerships across India with the last one inaugurated in Kolkata.

From the time it stepped on the Indian soil for the first time, Triumph Motorcycles has left no stone unturned to write a success story here. After inaugurating its first ever dealership in India in January this year, Triumph has gone far in order to tap different markets across the nation. After having dealerships in cities Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai, Triumph has decided to turn its head towards Chandigarh and Kolkata. This is also Triumph’s reply to the ever increasing demand in the luxury and premium motorcycles industry.

However, the number of dealerships is not the only thing Triumph is boasting of currently, the British motorcycle manufacturer also clocked 1,000 bookings post January 2014. These figures have been reached thanks to the 12 models the company has to offer that cater to five different categories of motorcycles. Models like the Iconic Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Speed Triple, Rocket III Roadster, Street Triple, Thruxton, Tiger 800 XC, Tiger Explorer, Thunderbird Storm, Thunderbird LT, the Daytona 675 & 675R are enough to set the hearts on fire irrespective of what kind of motorcycles one likes.

Commenting on the new dealerships, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With the launch of Triumph Motorcycles in Kolkata & Chandigarh, we are committed to setting new benchmarks in providing high quality service experience to our brand enthusiasts and prospects in every part of India. Both Kolkata & Chandigarh are very fascinating markets and will help with the steady growth of the brand here in India. The opening of the two dealerships strengthens our commitment to better establish the brand in the local market. The enthusiasm from brand patrons and fans that we have seen over the last one year is overwhelming to say the least.”

Adding on the number of bookings, he said, “We have successfully sold 1,000 motorcycles (Wholesale + Retails) and the number is growing progressively by the day! The ride quality and experience offered by a Triumph Motorcycle suits the individual needs of every biking enthusiast and we are expecting great response from the enthusiasts. We want to offer Triumph lovers not just a product but an overall experience that they deserve from a globally renowned brand like ours.”
