One of Triumph’s most affordable modern classics in India, the Speed 400, has gained a new colour option called Baja Orange. The eye-catching hue blends a vibrant orange with grey, which offers the bike a head-turning look. Priced at Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom), the Baja Orange variant joins the lineup alongside the base model, which starts at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Caspian Blue/Pearl White Metallic finish. With this new addition, the Speed 400 is now offered in a total of five colour options in India. According to Triumph, the Baja Orange colour is ‘born from the embers of the Baja California desert,’ and inspired by its sun-drenched, rugged landscape. Other than the new shade, the bike remains the same.
The Speed T4 shares its overall design with the Speed 400, but stands out with graphics on the wheels and a prominent ‘400’ badge on the fuel tank. Unlike the Speed 400’s gold-finished upside-down front fork, the T4 comes with a more conventional telescopic setup. That said, the bike continues to use the alloy wheels, round headlamp, single-piece seat, tail section, and the sculpted fuel tank like its sibling.
