With the new BS IV scheduled to be introduced from 1st April, it has been raining updates so far, this year. While Bajaj and Honda got the ball rolling with updates to their product portfolio, Suzuki and TVS have joined the bandwagon too. The Japanese bike maker updated its Gixxer range a few days back and now TVS has introduced the BS IV version of its flagship Apache RTR 200 4V. The updated model has been priced at Rs 97,800 (ex-showroom Mumbai), while the one shod with Pirelli tyres is priced at Rs 1.06 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

In line with the upcoming change in regulations, the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V also comes fitted with the Automatic Headlight On (AHO) feature. This means that it has no switch for the headlights on the handle bar.

When the Apache RTR 200 4V was first launched, TVS also launched the Fuel Injected version. That being said, it hasn’t hit the showroom as yet. The Hosur based bike maker is now expected to commence sale of the RTR 200’s FI version in the near future. TVS’ flagship has impressed experts and enthusiasts alike, but they might just lose some ground if they push the sale of its FI version any further, especially keeping in mind the building pressure from the recently launched Yamaha FZ25.
