The prices have been competitive as a result of CKD (Completely-Knocked-Down) benefits That C5 Aircross gets. If Citroen manages local assembly of the same, the prices could be aggressive to say the least. Currently, the Citroen C5 Aircross is on offer with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that comes mated to a eight-speed automatic transmission. The power output is at par with the segment - 174.3bhp and 400Nm of torque. However, the C5 Aircross comes with a front-wheel-drive layout and misses out on an all-wheel-drive variant. That gives an upper hand to some of its rivals. The company claims that the new crossover SUV offers fuel efficiency of 18km/l.

Earlier last month, the manufacturer commenced pre-bookings for the C5 Aircross at a token amount of Rs 50,000. The benefits of pre-booking were announced as a five-year or 50,000km complimentary maintenance package for customers who will pre-book the C5 Aircross before April 6th, 2021.
