The special-edition Jaguar F-Type pays tribute to the iconic E-type on the occasion of its 60th anniversary. Only 60 units of the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition will be available worldwide.

The E-type is, without a doubt, one of the most popular cars from Jaguar. And since March 2021 will mark the 60th anniversary of the legendary E-type, the British marque has decided to celebrate the occasion by launching a special edition version of the F-Type. Called the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition, the anniversary special version will be limited to only 60 units worldwide.

To commemorate the E-type, the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition is finished in solid Sherwood Green, which comes from the original E-type's colour palette, and interestingly, it hasn’t been offered in any Jaguar car since the 1960s. In addition to that, the limited-edition version will come with exclusive ‘diamond-turned’ gloss black 20-inch forged alloy wheels, along with gloss black and chrome exterior accents, and black brake callipers. It will be offered in both Coupé and Convertible body styles.

Inside, the Heritage Edition features ‘Caraway and Ebony Windsor’ leather interior trim – again this is something unique, as this combo isn’t normally available in the F-Type. Along with that, the limited-run model features a unique aluminium console finisher, inspired by the E-type’s rear-view mirror casings, the E-type 60th anniversary logo embossed on the headrests, and E-type 60 badging, which it shares with the six limited-edition E-type 60 Collection vehicles that were restored by Jaguar Classic.

The Heritage 60 Edition is powered by a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, which it shares with the F-Type R model. The engine develops 567bhp and 700Nm of torque. The power goes to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The F-Type Heritage 60 Edition will be built at Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich plant in the UK while finishing touches will be done by the company’s SV Bespoke team in Warwickshire. The limited-edition variant is priced from £122,500 in the UK, which translates to around Rs 1.20 crore (before taxes).
