Lexus has revealed the all-new 2024 GX for the global market. This third-generation model will supersede the current edition, introduced years ago in 2010. It will be accessible in six trims: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail, and Overtrail+. The last two are now off-road-oriented versions. The new Overtrail trims have black fenders and an aluminium skid plate. Further, these latest versions will roll on 18-inch wheels and 33-inch tyres. Additionally, the new Overtrail grades have a rear electronic locking differential. Speaking of the powertrain, the model gets a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 engine, which according to Lexus, offers more power and torque. Let's learn more about this new GX model, in terms of design, features, and more.

2024 Lexus GX: Exterior

Lexus GX Rear

The new GX differs from its predecessor because of the square-body profile and horizontal design theme. Outside, the Lexus spindle grille remains, but the designers have toned it down by implanting the element into the front fascia. Compared to the previous-generation GX, the overall width augments by 3.74 inches (Overtrail by 4.52 inches). The Premium Triple Beam LED headlights and grille opening have been increased. Further, according to Lexus, LED fog and cornering lighting have been included for improved visibility. The seamless grille and headlight integration delivers an overall commanding front presence.

According to Lexus, the 2024 GX will have a standard power rear lift door (a first for the GX) with a pop-out window and an optional kick sensor for hands-free convenience.

The exterior paint options for the new GX will vary according to the variants: Eminent White Pearl, Nebula Grey Pearl, Atomic Silver, GX-first Incognito, Caviar, Nori Green Pearl, and Nightfall Mica.
