Nearing the launch of the Audi e-tron, the company has announced aftersales service packages for its customers. The announcement also includes Audi’s plans to widen its charging network in India.
The Audi e-tron and the Audi e-tron Sportback will make their India debut on July 22. The Audi e-tron will be launched in two variants – the 50 and 55 – whereas the e-tron Sportback will debut in one variant – the e-tron Sportback 55.
Ahead of its launch, Audi India has introduced offers for its e-tron and e-tron Sportback customers. The offers include specially curated service packs, warranty plans, and buyback offers for both the body styles of e-tron.
Customers will have an option to choose a suitable service plan for themselves. The service plans range between two to five years from the time of purchase. The curated plans cover the e-tron’s costs of service and periodic maintenance of the brakes and suspension.
The e-trons will be offered with a standard warranty of two years and a battery warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever is earlier. The warranty can be extended for two or three more years for an additional price.
Additionally, Audi India will offer complimentary roadside assistance for five years. Audi has confirmed that the e-tron customers will avail a 'best in class' ‘buyback’ option of up to three years from the date of purchase.
Audi India has also offered its charging infrastructure and location search to all EV owners in India for a specific cost. The Audi e-tron customers will receive a complimentary wall box AC charger in addition to the 11kW charger, which comes standard with the car. Initial customers of the Audi e-tron can benefit from complimentary charging in 2021 at any Audi India dealership equipped with a charging facility.
Audi India will upgrade its key Audi dealerships with a 50kW fast charger in a phased manner and will open access to the ‘Chargers near me’ section of the ‘myAudi Connect’ app and Audi India website to all-electric car users in India.
