After launching the new M5 on day 1 of the 2018 Auto Expo, BMW India has added two more M cars in its portfolio on the second day of the show. The German manufacturer launched the updated version of the M3 sedan and M4 Coupe. The former is priced at Rs. 1.3 crore, while two-door M4 carries a price-tag of Rs. 1.33 crore. In addition to the high-performance duo, the company also launched a new petrol version of the X6, which is priced at Rs. 94.15 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

BMW is now offering the Competition Package with both M3 and M4. This means that the twin-turbo 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol motor develops 444bhp and 550Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic that sends power to the rear wheels. 0 –100km/h is done in flat 4 seconds and the top speed is 250km/h. The top-speed can be increased to 280km/h with optional M Driver’s Package.

On the visual front, the Competition Package comes with high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim that features gloss black finish all around the body-work. 19-inch M alloy wheels with double-spoke styling in black are standard, but you can opt for 20-inch wheels with a star-spoke pattern as well.

The X6 launched at the expo is the xDrive35i M Sport variant. It’s powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine that churns out 302bhp and 400Nm of torque. Power goes to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Performance is pretty impressive too – 0 –100km/h in 6.4 seconds. The X6 xDrive35i gets air suspension as standard. With a price-tag of Rs. 94.15 lakh, it’s now the entry-level variant of the X6 range in India, which includes xDrive40d M Sport (diesel) and X6 M.
