BMW certainly knows how to unveil a car in style as the launch of the facelift 6 Series Gran Coupe was the curtain raiser of the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2015. Like its predecessor, it will only be available in diesel and come via CBU route. The 6 Series Gran Coupe comes in two variants -- the 640d Eminence for Rs 1.14 crore and Rs 1.21 crore for 640d Design Pure Experience.

Apart from the cosmetic changes, the 640d predominantly remains same. It gets a re-designed kidney grille, which is slants outwards, revised front and rear bumpers, new LED headlights and new alloy wheel design.

The cabin too receives changes as BMW believes these upgrades were done so that it is more upmarket. The 640d now comes in two-tone leather upholstery and the centre console gets piano black finish.

The Gran Coupe continues to be powered by the same 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, TwinPower turbo diesel motor, which makes 308bhp (313hp) and 630Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and it does 0-100kmph in 5.4s with a top speed of 250kmph.
