With Mercedes-Benz and Audi already showcasing their armoured vehicles, the M-Guard and the A8 Security, it was just a matter of time that BMW would flex its muscle and now they have by launching the 7 series High Security in India. It is considered as one of the safest cars available in the country and has been a faithful servant of the Indian Prime Minister since 2003. After a brief confusion over which car the 15th and current Prime Minister of India Narendra Damodardas Modi would choose, it all came down to state-of-art security features which made the BMW 760Li High Security the obvious choice.

The BMW 760Li High Security is certified to the international standard guideline BRV 2009 and the vehicle meets the highest requirements of ballistic protection. With the integration of additional safety features and armour plating, specific chassis components are adapted to the increased weight of the sedan. Hence, reinforced suspension, dampers and suspension strut top mountings are part of the model-specific component range. This ensures the vehicle’s performance is not compromised.

To ensure that BMW’s elite clientele remains confidential, the German luxury carmaker provides exclusive consultancy and personalised sales and service support all across the country. BMW High-Security sedans are serviced by certified special garages only. Access to the vehicles is restricted to very few selected and specially trained personnel. As part of the special customer service, BMW offers special driver training programmes for security vehicles.
