In a rather surprising find it has come to light that BMW has significantly slashed prices for the 5 Series in Punjab. Based on a text message, we enquired with an official dealer in Punjab who has confirmed that the BMW 530d M Sport with its creamy 3.0 litre straight six diesel engine with 258bhp and 540Nm, is on sale for a price of Rs. 53.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The car comes fully loaded with heads-up display, soft close feature for the doors, M-Sport pack, etc. However, there is a catch, there are only 3 units left in stock. So, if you are looking for a practical everyday luxury saloon that offers blistering performance then this is a deal that you just cannot miss.

In fact, we have driven the 530d M Sport on the Buddh International Circuit and we needn’t stress that it was a great day.

With the new generation BMW 5 Series coming our way, prices of the 520d has also dropped significantly and it is on sale in Punjab for a shade over Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom). As for the only petrol 5 Series model, the 520i, the dealership confirmed that it is no longer in sale as it is out of stock. Expect the new model to be launched in the coming months.

We suggest you contact your nearest BMW dealer to find the best offers currently available on the 5 Series diesel.
