To control any in-car feature, all you have to do is ask!

We've always been fascinated by the idea of having a Jarvis-like virtual assistant, ever since the first Iron Man movie. Well, let's just say that Lamborghini & Amazon may have come one step closer to realising this idea. At the ongoing 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Lamborghini has on display a Huracan Evo that's equipped with complete in-car Alexa integration. This has been possible since Lamborghini launched the Huracan Evo with its first-ever connected infotainment system with digital services.

The result? Those customers ordering a 2020 Huracan Evo will be able to operate virtually any in-car feature with a simple voice command. 'Our vision is for Alexa to become a natural, intuitive part of the driving experience, and Lamborghini has embraced that by integrating Alexa directly into its onboard infotainment systems,' said Ned Curic, VP,  Alexa Auto at Amazon. 'The integration will enable Lamborghini owners to enjoy the convenience of an intelligent voice service while focusing on the joy of the Lamborghini driving experience, and we expect it to set a new standard for in-car voice experiences when it ships this year,' he added.

The Alexa integration also continues into the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) system (available only on four-wheel-drive Huracan derivatives), and it can also be used to operate other connected devices that are using Alexa, for example, connected devices in a customer's house. Lamborghini does not wish to stop here. Work is already on to pave the way for the further integration of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
