Jared is spoilt for choice as he gets to drive the entire Audi sportscar range at the Buddh International Circuit.

I have already driven the entire range of Audi vehicles in India, but even so, I could never turn down an opportunity to drive these powerful cars on the Buddh Circuit. Audi graciously invited me to attend the Audi Sportscar Experience, where they allow their customers to experience the full fleet of Audi sportscars. How could anyone refuse such an invitation?

As I enter the pit lane I see a couple of Audi TTs, a few RS5s, an RS7, a S6, and two beautiful R8 V10s. Out of all these wonderful cars, the only one I hadn't driven before was the S6. I first drove the R8 V10 at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, and I've driven the rest of these beautiful machines on the BIC before.

Audi organizes the race track experience so that their customers can focus on sharpening their driving skills such as handling, steering, braking and sector training on a racetrack under the guidance of an instrutor, and it just so happened that the instructor for the day was none other than the young Indian racing prodigy Aditya Patel. The track day experience also helps driver's understand racing lines, and over and under steering.

It was an action packed day as we first took to the track in the Audi TT and were given a chance to learn the correct racing lines. Fortunately, the BIC is where we conduct our major tests for autoX, so I was no stranger to the track. Next up was a few laps in the more powerful 420bhp S6, and after that I got to get in the driver's seat of the RS7, which has a massive power output of 552bhp and 700Nm of torque. By now I was very comfortable going very quick around the track and the next car I would drive was the R8 V10. The R8 V10 is one of the fastest production cars to lap the BIC. It might have less power than the RS7, but its power to weight ratio is higher so it has faster acceleration and it is also much easier to handle. It was super fun to drive this beast on the track.

It was a day full of smiles and it was a wonderful experience to spend the day with these powerful machines and race them around the BIC.
