Honda Cars India experienced a decline in sales across both domestic and export markets in April 2025. It sold 4,871 units overall during the last month, registering a substantial 55.18% year-on-year decline from the 10,867 units sold in April 2024. Of the total, 3,360 units were delivered in the domestic market, showing a 22.78% decline from the 4,351 units sold in April 2024. The export segment faced an even steeper fall, plummeting by 76.81% to just 1,511 units, compared to 6,516 units a year earlier.

Sharing thoughts on the sales performance, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, 'In view of the prevailing market conditions and subdued consumer sentiment, we have strategically moderated the dispatches in the month of April to maintain optimal inventory level across our network, ensuring operational efficiency and preparing for demand fluctuations without burdening the dealers.'
