Honda has launched the brand-new City Sport in India with a price tag of Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This exclusive edition will join the City line-up as a new, limited-run variant tailored for buyers seeking a more distinctive offering. It will be available solely with a CVT (automatic) transmission and offered in three exterior shades: Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
Commenting on the new launch, Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, 'The new City Sport has been crafted to meet the aspirations of young buyers who value individuality and a spirited driving experience. It embodies a perfect blend of sporty exterior and interior style, fun to drive performance, and the everyday usability that Honda City is known for, at a price that makes it even more compelling.'
Visually, the City Sport stands out with a more aggressive exterior treatment. It features a blacked-out front grille, a black trunk lip spoiler, a glossy black shark fin antenna, and a Sport badge.

The look is completed with grey multi-spoke alloy wheels and black outside rear-view mirrors, giving it a distinctly sporty appearance.
The Honda City Sport Edition is propelled by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which is E20-compliant. This unit is coupled with CVT and paddle shift. As far as power and torque figures are concerned, the powertrain puts out 119bhp of maximum power and 145Nm of peak torque, delivering a smooth and spirited performance. The City Sport has a claimed fuel efficiency of up to 14.8km/l. Moreover, the model boasts the Honda Sensing (ADAS) offering advanced safety.
Step inside to a bold and immersive all-Black cabin that exudes sportiness, featuring premium leather seats and soft-touch door panels, all accented with striking Red contrast stitching on the seats, doors, and steering wheel. The dark interior theme is carried through to the roof liner and pillars, enhancing the overall sense of sophistication.
