The Honda Civic Type R will be the last model before its discontinuation in Europe and the UK. Honda is ending the Civic Type R due to stricter emission rules. To mark this, the company is launching a special final version called the ‘Ultimate Edition.’ This model celebrates 28 years of the Civic Type R, which first appeared in Europe in 1997 and grew into a popular performance car. The Civic Type R Ultimate Edition is limited to just 40 units, making it a rare and highly sought-after collector’s item. It features unique badging and a striking championship white paint with bold red stripes that catch the eye. The car also includes a contrasting black roof and lightweight carbon fibre parts, such as the prominent rear wing, adding to its aggressive look.

An interesting feature is the Type R logo projector, which activates when the front doors open, adding a unique and stylish touch that enhances the car’s overall appeal.
Performance stays strong with the Ultimate Edition. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 324bhp and 420 Nm of torque, providing impressive power. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, offering precise control and engagement. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.

The Honda Type R has made a significant impact on the performance car market and still holds the fastest lap record by a front-wheel-drive car at the legendary Nurburgring circuit.
