Jeep has commenced online bookings for its SUVs via the company website and will facilitate doorstep test drives with a fully sanitised vehicle.
In keeping with the times, Jeep India has commenced online booking for its SUVs via the company’s official website. To facilitate a contactless experience, FCA has set up a system via which customers can select the Jeep of their choice on the website by selecting the model, engine, transmission, colour and variant, following which they are prompted to enter their personal details, location and make a digital payment for the booking amount via internet banking, credit card etc.
Once this is completed, a customer ID is generated by the website and sent to both the customer and an authorised Jeep dealer in the city. The dealership will then reach out to the customer via an executive over a voice or video call and will set up a doorstep test drive for the customer in a sanitised vehicle. When the customer is satisfied, they can then proceed to complete the booking process online to make the final payment or set up a payment channel. The FCA group is also giving out special benefits to those booking a Jeep online. The company will then make the necessary arrangements to deliver a fully sanitised vehicle as per the customer’s specifications to their doorstep at the time of delivery.
Commenting on the new retail strategy, Dr. Partha Datta – President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “Our commitment is to ensure customers can still continue to access Jeep at their fingertips. To ensure health, safety and convenience, we are making the Jeep retail experience as touch-free as possible. We are already live with ‘Book My Jeep’, which is being dovetailed into a 360-degree digital retail architecture that will deliver an intelligent, easy-to-use and fascinating experience for customers. Prospects will be able to book and own a Jeep, from their screens, without leaving the safety of their homes.”
