Jeep has launched the Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition in India, which draws inspiration from the classic 1941 Willys. This special version, based on the top-of-the-line Rubicon, is priced at Rs 73.24 lakh (ex-showroom), a premium of Rs 1.59 lakh over the Rubicon's base price of Rs 71.65 lakh. The all-new edition combines the historical design of the Willys with the modern performance and features of the Wrangler, and is limited to just 30 units in India. It highlights the brand’s strong commitment to honouring its heritage while delivering a modern, adventure-ready driving experience.
Speaking on the launch, Kumar Priyesh, Brand Director, Jeep India, said, 'The Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition is more than a vehicle—it’s a tribute to Jeep’s timeless legacy of freedom, adventure, and authenticity. Inspired by the original spirit of the Willys, this exclusive edition blends heritage with bold individuality, allowing passionate Jeepers to make a statement that’s both personal and iconic. It’s a celebration of everything Jeep represents, thoughtfully designed for those who value distinction rooted in legacy.'
The limited-run model stands out with an exclusive ‘1941 Original Willys Military Green’ paint, paired with a distinctive 1941 decal on the hood. To complement its heritage-inspired styling, the Willys ‘41 Edition comes equipped with a powered side step that helps counter its high ride height, and dash cameras at the front and rear.

The interior benefits from heavy-duty all-weather floor mats, making it well-suited for adventurous use. Jeep also offers optional equipment—including a side-access ladder, a roof-mounted cargo carrier, and a sunrider top—but these features are bundled at a premium cost of Rs 4.65 lakh.
Other than the above-mentioned upgrades, the Willys ‘41 Special Edition retains the same as the standard Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Under the hood lies a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 266bhp and 400Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
