Kia Motors inaugurates first dealership in India

Kia Motors India is one step closer to starting its sales operations in the country as the Korean marque inaugurated its first dealership in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Allied Motors becomes the first dealership partner of Kia Motors in India.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh gets India’s first Kia Motors dealership.

Kia Motors India, in partnership with Allied Motors, has inaugurated its first dealership in India. The dealership is situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh which was inaugurated by Kookhyun Shim, MD & CEO, Kia Motors India.

The 12,000 square feet facility will cater to sales, after-sales and service facilities. The design and architecture of the showroom follow the language of Kia’s global ‘Red Cube’ showrooms and the facility will be equipped with dedicated consulting areas, a state of the art lounge and café for customers and an exclusive new car delivery area. Along with that, the dealership is also equipped with dedicated service facilities to meet the after-sales requirements of the customers. The dealership consists of a dedicated 6,000 square feet area for sales and displays to cater to different demands of the customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Manohar Bhat, Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia Motors India said, ‘We are happy to reflect quality and speed in everything that we do and hence we already have our first showroom in India ready, much before we start selling our products. This is an important milestone for Kia Motors India as it marks the customer-focused physical presence of the brand in the country.’

Kia Motors India Noida Dealership

In January 2019, Kia Motors began trial production at the brand new manufacturing facility in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh. Kia is expected to begin official manufacturing in the second half of 2019 with a capacity to manufacture 3,00,000 units annually. The very first product from Kia in the Indian market is expected to be an SUV off of the SP Concept showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. The production model will be based on the underpinnings of the Hyundai Creta, which it will reveal directly when it goes on sale later this year.
