Priced at Rs 53.18 lakhs (ex-showroom) this is the fourth model to be launched by the Lexus brand since its India debut in April

In November, Lexus unveiled the NX 300h in India and said that the prices will be declared in soon. The company has now officially launched the NX 300h at an initial price of Rs 52.18 lakh for the base Luxury trim and Rs 55.58 for the F-Sport variant. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.

Speaking about the launch of the new offering, Akitoshi Takemura, President, Lexus India said, “Keeping in mind our young guests, we have priced the NX 300h at an attractive price point. The design and engineering of this vehicle absolutely delights and now the pricing will excite a whole new category of guests in India. Our price approach for the NX 300h is in accord with Government’s vision and we call it ‘one nation, one price’ making it advantageous for our guests. Keeping in mind the NX 300h’s launch price, this is indeed the most opportune time to acquire a Lexus.”

Like all the other Lexus models on sale, the NX 300h too sports a sharp design with prominent cuts and creases. Globally, the car was first introduced in 2014, but this one is the facelifted version that went on sale recently. Up front, it gets a large hour-glass grille with the typically Lexus tick-mark LED strips on either side. The edgy design continues in profile and at the back too to give the NX great road presence. The interior too is typically Lexus but in place of a joystick control, this one gets a touchpad for the central infotainment screen. Being a CBU, quality all around is top notch. The Lexus NX 300h comes with a lot of segment first features including an electronic folding rear seat, kick-activated tailgate door, and more. Other standard features include 8 airbags, ABS, vehicle stability control and more.

The Lexus NX 300h is powered by a 2.5-litre Atkinson Cycle petrol powerplant that works in union with a battery and electric motors. Combined, it is capable of producing 194bhp and 210Nm. The engine comes mated to a CVT. Lexus says that the NX 300h gets an ARAI rated efficiency of 18.32km/l.

Bookings for the Lexus NX 300h have already commenced at a minimum booking amount of Rs 5 lakh. For more information and detailed review of the New Lexus NX 300h follow this link.
