Mahindra will be launching its new KUV100 compact SUV with four variants on offer and optional airbag equipped variants

The launch of the Mahindra KUV100 is around the corner and variants of the new compact vehicle have been revealed in the course towards its launch. In typical Mahindra fashion, the new KUV100 will be launched with alphanumeric combination for variants. The vehicle will debut with four variants, namely, K2, K4, K6 and K8. Each of these variants will also get + badged versions, which are essentially safety oriented variants that will be offered with dual front airbags.

Without further ado let’s take a look at what each of these variants are going to pack in terms of features.

Mahindra KUV100 K2: The entry-level K2 variant will come with tilt adjustable electronic power steering, air conditioning and heating, gear shift indicator, front air rest, body coloured bumpers, a rear spoiler and most importantly anti-lock braking systems with electronic brake force distribution.

In addition the K2+ variant will get dual front airbags.

Mahindra KUV100 K4: In addition to the features on the K2 variant, the K4 packs in power windows all around, a foldable rear seat, central locking, mud flaps, wheel caps, wheel arch cladding, body coloured ORVM casings and most importantly, a day-night interior rear view mirror.

Then there is the K4+ variant which gets two airbags upfront.

Mahindra KUV100 K6: The K6 variant of the KUV is the one that picks up on the features front with everything from a dual-DIN stereo with four speakers and two tweeters, remote central locking, height adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable ORVMs, sunglass holder, chilled glovebox, rear centre arm rest, follow-me-home headlamps, a roof mounted radio antenna and multiple drive modes.

Cosmetic additions include, chrome inserts in the front grille, roof rails, backed B-Pillar, door cladding and piano black interiors.

The K6+ variant gets steering mounted audio controls and dual front airbags.

Mahindra KUV100 K8: The top-of-the-line K8 variant features front airbags as standard, engine start/stop micro hybrid system, puddle lamps on all doors, front fog lamps, daytime running LEDs, silver accents on rear door handles and 12 inch alloy wheels.
