Mahindra's new Thar has been grabbing eyeballs and playing with the hearts of aspiring customers ever since its launch in October. And if you were going back and forth on the purchase decision, now might be the opportune moment to sign on the dotted line before the prices go up.
Mahindra is all set to hike the prices for the new Thar on December 1. The move comes as the company will be doing away with the introductory prices for the Thar that saw the jeep being launched with prices ranging between Rs. 9.80 lakh to Rs. 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom India). Official information as to how much the Thar will cost from tomorrow is not known at the moment. What we do know is that the current prices for the Thar are applicable for all units booked so far, up until the 30th of November. So, if you were pondering the idea of buying one, now might be the opportune moment, before the new prices become applicable!
As informed by us earlier, the new Thar is available in a choice of petrol, diesel, manual and automatic models, with all variants being offered as standard with four-wheel drive. You can know more about the variant line-up here - New Mahindra Thar launched
While we haven’t had a chance to take the Thar off-road, we have rather unpredictably driven it on a race track and you can read the track test report here - 2020 Mahindra Thar: Track Test
