Mahindra XUV500 infotainment system gets new features

Mahindra & Mahindra have now added new features and apps to the infotainment system of the XUV500. Mahindra have also introduced an all new urbane Lake-Side Brown colour with all-black interiors in the W10 variant. The XUV500 also gets one-touch lane-change turn indicators as well.

The Mahindra XUV500 has been given new features with an updated infotainment system and new apps which are offered from the W6 variant onwards.

Mahindra & Mahindra have now added new features and apps to the infotainment system of the XUV500. Mahindra have also introduced an all new urbane Lake-Side Brown colour with all-black interiors in the W10 variant. The XUV500 also gets one-touch lane-change turn indicators as well.

The touchscreen infotainment system on the XUV500 now gets features like Android Auto, Emergency Call, Connected Apps and Ecosense.

Android Auto allows Android OS devices to connect with the system and work seamlessly while using features from the mobile device.

The Emergency Call feature automatically calls emergency services and also sends a text alert to two pre-set numbers through the paired mobile phone in the event of an accident. The

Connected Apps feature include Gaana, Cricket Live, Zomato, Book My Show and more which can be used directly through the infotainment system.

The Ecosense technology provides information to the driver on the car’s consumption patters, to aid the driver in driving more economically. The feature scores the driver’s driving habits on the journey out of 100 by assessing parameters like speed, gear selection, acceleration, idling, clutch override and aggressive breaking.

The Mahindra XUV500 is now offered with new features with a starting ex-showroom Navi Mumbai price of Rs. 13.6 lakh.
