McLaren Automotive will be returning to the Salon Privé this September as part the marque's 50th anniversary celebrations. Salon Privé is UK's premier 'boutique' motoring event comprising of the British Super Car Show, Chubb Insurance Concours d'Elégance, Chubb Insurance Tour d'Elégance, The Concepts & Prototypes Display, Boodles Ladies' Day, The Hyper Car Collection EFG Private Bank Art & Memorabilia Fayre and a Luxury Brands Village.

This is McLaren’s second year at the Salon Privé, and the British car maker is sure to feature the 12C and 12C Spider here apart from a few other suprises. McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson, will also be part of the Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance judging panel this year.

The fact that he has a number of iconic car designs to his name like the new MINI, BMW X5, Maserati MC12, Ferrari F430, not to forget the McLaren 12C and 12C Spider, has a lot to do with him judging this event for the second time.

McLaren will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on the 2nd of September which falls two days prior to the opening of the Salon Privé, making it the perfect time for the company to celebrate on the grounds of the Syon House.
