Mercedes-Benz India will launch the AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition on June 12, developed exclusively for the Indian market. Inspired by India’s diverse landscape, this special edition has been co-developed with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. The luxury SUV is expected to offer exclusive features and custom styling. A teaser image shows the AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition in a bright exterior colour with silver wheels.

The SUV keeps the iconic boxy G-Class design but may include new visual details that set it apart from the standard model currently sold in India. These unique design elements are likely to enhance the vehicle’s road presence.
Inside, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition is expected to feature premium materials and a cabin theme inspired by Indian culture. While no interior images are out yet, the SUV should include the standard MBUX infotainment system with dual 12.3-inch screens, delivering luxury and modern tech features.
Under the hood, the special edition AMG G 63 will retain the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 577 hp and 850 Nm of torque. This powertrain, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, will continue to deliver the performance expected from the AMG brand, with no major mechanical changes confirmed yet.

The standard Mercedes-AMG G 63 is priced at Rs 3.64 crore (ex-showroom), and the Collector’s Edition is likely to come at a premium. With limited availability and India-specific touches, this edition aims to attract luxury car collectors and enthusiasts across the country.
